"I have admiration for a single mother especially in the city of New York where the socioeconomic conditions of bringing up a child and working the slide at the 21 club is not an easy task.
I admire a woman who had a career in acting and then stepped into the crazy world of the restaurant industry while bringing sensitivity to all of the environment and the people in the kitchen. I admire her for having the balls to start a business on her own.
I admire the difficult job she has of sending the right people for the right job most of the time. I admire her for her courage, stamina and enthusiasm. For taking calls Saturday and Sunday and working 7 days a week. And for picking herself up by the bootstraps. I admire America for giving her the opportunity to work her ass off do a great job and be honorable and to be a woman and to be straight arrowed.
I applaud her. I never applaud a person by themselves — I also have to applaud their parents."
